Sunday Services
9.00am – Traditional Holy
Communion
A weekly service of Holy
Communion with formal structure, using liturgy and organ music from the
Church of England tradition, with the opportunity for refreshments after
the service.
10.45am - Worship Together
Worship with a mix of traditional and
contemporary music,
intended primarily for adults,
with a flexible structure, in depth bible teaching and Holy Communion
once a month. Partway through the service our younger members have the
opportunity to leave and partake in children's church, to learn and grow
in their faith in creative and energetic ways.
Time for refreshments, catching up with old friends or making new ones
is available after the service.
We have All Age worship on major church festivals and during holiday
periods.
7.30 pm –
Cafe Praise
Café
Praise is an informal evening service which takes place on the 1st and
3rd Sundays of each month – not August or December. The café opens at
7pm with smoothies and hot drinks, cakes and biscuits. The service
begins at 7.30 and lasts an hour. Music is modern in style, prayer is
informal and there is a talk on a biblical text with a contemporary
theme followed by prayer and reflection. The atmosphere is relaxed. We
meet at the back of the church and there is a choice of bean bags or
chairs to sit on! |
Wednesday Morning Prayer
This is a long-established mid-week service, with hymns, supported by
approximately 20 people (age range 40-95) who appreciate the rich
tradition and liturgy of the BCP. The service is led by a Reader with
the Vicar celebrating Holy Communion (BCP) once a month.
