Rosemary and Paul Couchman

Our home group meets fortnightly on Tuesday evenings during term time from 8:00-9:30pm.  We like to use a variety of ways to study – to keep us all on out toes – and to improve our knowledge of the Bible.  From our study, we aim to find the relevance for us to today and use it to give us guidance and encouragement.
We believe that it is important for us, as a group, to be supportive of one another and to grow together in our relationships; whilst at the same time nurturing our faith to enable us to grow into the people God wants us to be.
We are very open and welcoming to new members, so if you are interested in coming along to see whether you like what we do and meet us then please call contact Rachael in the Office for more details.

Claire Howard

We meet on alternate Wednesday evenings from 8pm - 10pm (approx)! We take a break over the Christmas and summer holiday periods; and end each 'term' with a meal together. We start the evening with refreshments and a chat and then spend the rest of the evening having a Bible study (based on a book from the Bible or a theme), prayers and worship time together. We focus on how what we learn in our study can be applied to our everyday Christian lives. We are welcoming to new members
Linda McLean Jesus promised that ‘Where two or three come together in my name, there I am with them’ (Matt 18:20 NIV) and we have found this to be true.
We begin with tea or coffee and a brief chat, followed by some time in contemplative prayer or maybe someone will read a ‘thought for the week’, after which we begin our study of God’s word. Our aim is to draw closer to Him in our lives, through study, through the testimony, example and support of others and through prayer. It doesn’t matter how long or short a person’s relationship with Jesus has been, they always have something which can enrich the spiritual lives of others.
So why not come along and let us welcome you? We meet on alternate Wednesday evenings at my house
Please call Rachael in the church office on 01403 261380 for details.

Anna and Richard Parrish

We meet fortnightly on a Thursday evening, from about 7.30 - 9.30 p.m., to encourage each other in the Christian faith. Activities include Bible study, worship, prayer, discussion, drinking tea / coffee
The meetings are informal and participative - we try to relate the truths of the Bible to our everyday lives. There is opportunity to share items for prayer, both for people known to us and for ourselves.

Anne Rumney

Our Home Group meets twice a month on Wednesday evenings, 8.00- 9.30pm. After refreshments, when we catch up on our news, we have a time of worship and prayer for our concerns, ourselves and for our evening together. Then we settle down to some study, which may be on a particular topic or a book of the Bible.
There is always plenty of discussion and someone is sure to ask the question that others have thought about but not wanted to ask. We end the evening with quiet reflection to a piece of music.
The group is an ideal way to explore what it means to be a Christian and to grow in faith. It is a very supportive group and we would welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

Betty Rodrigues

We meet in the morning on the first and third Thursdays of each month
Our morning begins with a cup of coffee, a friendly chat and then we get down to the subject for discussion. We always close with a time for prayer.
Our studies have alternated between the New and Old Testaments and various courses covering our Christian journey.  A joint decision is always made when choosing our next study.
At present there are six members in our group and we would give a warm welcome to anyone who wishes to join our small band

Each week ends with tea or coffee and cakes or biscuits and a chat.
We'd love to see you if you'd like come along.

We meet fortnightly on Thursday mornings. Young children and babies are very welcome too; they have fun playing and making friends. We chat over tea, coffee and homemade cakes. Then we have a short time of worship, listening to music or a reading, to help us unwind from the stresses of life, ready to focus on our Bible study, discussion and prayer.

Our Thursday mornings are an oasis in our busy lives. Our children are all ages from babies to teenagers. We are a very supportive group and we'd love you to join us.

This is very much an open group and we would greatly encourage anyone wishing to come along
